Welcome to Shiryo - Inu
Shiryo - Inu launching now on Ethereum and it seems that play to earn game tokens are still one of the best niches to buy in DeFi! The roadmap details a fully functional trading card based game which will allow for the earning of the native token through different incentives including weekly competitions!
Contract Address: 0x0e675f042b4C4053062e94ff4738e233D846A31b
The team recently released concepts for the trading cards on their Telegram group and their design team has done an amazing job, this is a gem in the making and it is still incredibly early if you get in now. Having only been life for less than 24 hours the token is sitting at just above a $1M market cap which is incredibly low for a play to earn game, the team is really active on Telegram and the holders seem to be diamond handed after seeing the potential in this project!
Everything about this project has been super clean so far, the chart looks good and the website and concepts released so far have been on point.
The whitepaper is to be released today alongside more mockups of the concept for the game, the marketing has been on point with calls from all the biggest names on Telegram and Twitter. The developer even just hired a social media specific marketing agency to help get even more eyes on the project, Shiryo-Inu is about to become synonymous with the likes of Floki and Mononoke - Inu, don’t sleep on this one!

2021.12.01 03:49 Imaxinacion SoulFrame (Parts 1 - 4)
PART 1 Synopsis
The year is 9022. Humanity has advanced to the point where we are no longer a race of flesh and bone; shedding our mortal shells for mechanical ones. We are ones no longer born from the womb; instead new minds are artificially generated and placed into immortal bodies of steel and servos: SoulFrames. Through the advancements of technology, we have unlocked the true potential of the mind, granting us a greater understanding of the universe and even allowing some to possess psychic powers. We have conquered distant stars, the Human Federation spanning 5,000 planets across the Milky Way, and made contact with several alien races which culminated in a peaceful Galactic Alliance. However, a threat looms over Humanity as an unidentified entity approaches from the void of intergalactic space...
The Major Corporations
Ever since the invention of mind extraction technology, several corporations have taken advantage of the transitioning phase (the time period during which the majority of humanity was opting to transfer their minds into mechanical bodies) to manufacture new bodies. Although they stem from the same technology, each corporation had different ideals and offered vastly dissimilar designs; some focused on mobility, some focused on power, some focused on price. These mechanical bodies were first called "SoulFrames" or simply "Frames" by the general populace before being universally adopted by the manufacturers themselves. Below are short introductions to each of these corporations.
CORP: General Dynamics
General Dynamics (a.k.a. GenDyne) was the pioneer in the manufacture of SoulFrames and the first to put them into mass production. They simultaneously offer the cheapest SoulFrames on the market as well as several on the high-end range. They focus on evenly balanced specifications and prioritise comfort over utility. Their cheapest model, the Model 1 "Neuman", is the most popular SoulFrame on the market.
Kakubuki is a Japanese international arms manufacturer that puts emphasis on stealth and mobility. Their primary customer base comes from the private security sector, elite police forces, as well as the military. Some of their high-end models, such as the Z55 "Sparrow", even sport temporary flight capabilities. Their signature red-on-black colour palette invokes fear on even the most dangerous criminals of the underground.
CORP: MegaTek Conglomerate
Megatek is a supplier of heavy load-bearing mechanisms. Many construction workers use MegaTek Frames because of their reliability, durability, and strength. The use of SoulFrames in the construction sector has revolutionised the speed and efficiency at which infrastructure development can take place, greatly accelerating humanity's expansion into the stars. Most MegaTek Frames, such as the M7 "Goliath", are larger than standard specifications; bad for tight corridors but great for carrying cargo.
CORP: Psyonic Research Group
Psyonic Research Group (a.k.a. Psyonic) is the sole manufacturer of SoulFrames with psychic abilities. This technology is currently still at an early stage of development, therefore all Psyonic products are largely experimental and may not function as advertised. Their mass production model, the Mk.III "Tesla", is known for contributing the highest percentage of voltage-related workplace incidents.

He couldn't understand any of it. A few seconds passed without anything happening. The suspense weighed heavy on him. Then, the world began to fade into view. He was in a room. Walls and floor of grey. Lighting came from the ceiling overhead. He tried to blink. He couldn't.
Knowledge transfer initialising...
The next few seconds of his life were the most uncomfortable and jarring he would ever experience. With a blinding flash of light, information started flooding his mind. Humanity. Language. Economy. History. Science. Engineering. SoulFrames. After the brief episode was over, the world faded back into view again. But this time, he was filled with an understanding. He didn't need to blink. He didn't need to breathe.

All systems OK
He felt the clamps holding him in place open up. The wiring connecting him to the central computer unlatched. As he took his first step out of the assembly chamber onto the walkway in front, he audibly reminded himself: "My name is Faber."
PART 3 Faber made his way towards the exit marked on his HUD. The heavy armored doors opened to reveal a sprawling daylit city. As the sunlight hit his optical receptor, it automatically adjusted the exposure so as to not blind him. The adjustment was noticably quicker than what an organic eye would have been capable of. As he stepped outside, he looked around and tried moving his fingers. They moved and felt as natural as organic ones. He scanned the area, observing multiple Kakubuki security troopers and flying drones surrounding the Spawning Point where he just emerged from. If not for their presence, just about any scavenger could come along and leave with more than a couple of Neuman SoulFrames in tow.
"Neuman". That was the moniker for the General Dynamics Model 1, the first SoulFrame to hit mass production. It was derived from the Higher German words "niuwe", meaning "new", and "mann", meaning "man". "New man". It was a fitting name for the SoulFrame that would be the foundation for the next step of humanity. Ever since the invention of Mind Generation technology, every new human created was paired with the Neuman Frame because of its versatility and affordability. As the person lived and took on jobs, he would accumulate wealth, which could go towards bodily maintenance, customisation, equipment, upgrades and new SoulFrames. Wealth most commonly came in the form of Credits, a multi-species currency that is universally accepted within the Milky Way galaxy.
Faber looked up at the sky. Since there was little to no atmosphere, he could see the stars around the sun. He pondered for a brief moment at his predicament; he was less than a day old, yet he knew so much about the world. He knew how to move. He knew how to speak. He knew that his home planet, Gimani-2, was a Frontier World; located at the edge of the Human Federation's territory. He also had extensive knowledge of the past. He knew that the first colony ships landed approximately 3000 years ago, which meant that the people here lived through the 100-year war, which spanned from 7162 to 7262. It was the single most bloody conflict in galactic history, claiming almost a third of all lives in the galaxy. The Humans amounted to a tiny fraction of the total casualties, but it was devastating nonetheless. It was the conflict that led up to the current Galactic Alliance, with the following head members:
Reptillian humanoids with incredible physical traits such as super strength, speed, tough skin and versatile respiratory systems. Even without their exo suits, they are vastly superior to organic Humans and may match modern Humans in some situations. Majority grow up with an honor-bound culture where deceit and cunning are frowned upon. They are currently the most dominant race in the galaxy.
Highly intelligent psychic organisms that bear multiple tentacles sprouting from a large central brain mass. They possess reality-warping abilities such as teleportation and kinetic manipulation. Few have seen them without some kind of external suit or armor, and for those who did, they come back insane and having completely lost their minds. Kalazeks communicate through telepathy and are generally passive in nature, preferring to seek mutual understanding over violence.
A completely mechanised species of various forms, mostly designed for warfare. Each individual Praetorian makes up a fraction of a decentralised hive mind, which is led by an artificial intelligence known as "Eve" (feminine). They were responsible for the 100-year war due to their rapid and uncontrolled expansion during the 70th century. After almost being completely destroyed, Eve learns that cooperation with other races was necessary for continued existence. After the war, she made Praetorian technology publicly accessible and offered to help in the rebuilding of infrastructure destroyed during the war.
Needless to say, the relatively young Human civilisation took no place on this high table. However, they were still a minor member of the Galactic Alliance, and regularly trade with other races for valuable resources.
After losing their organic bodies, Humans no longer had the need for air or food. Deuterium-Tritium fuel, informally known as Energon, took their place as the primary energy source. Carbon and metals, which were the building blocks for the new Human race, also increased in demand...
Suddenly, a loud explosion disrupted Faber's train of thought. He looked right towards the massive ground-to-space railgun that just fired a shell. It was probably deflecting an oncoming asteroid that was projected to strike a populated area.
The railgun fired again. Perhaps it missed the first time. After all, the ballistics of such long-range artillery would probably be subject to some error. Maybe one in a million.
Okay. Things were getting strange. There was a short moment of silence, and then all of a sudden, sirens started blaring from all directions. It was low pitched, with a slow undulation. Vibrations so strong he felt them from the ground where he stood. Faber knew this sound. It was the sound of war.
PART 4 Earlier that day...
Gimani-2 Central Command
Peter-228, the Planetary Safety Observer on duty, noticed a medium-sized asteroid that was recently picked up by the long-range radar system. It was quite far out in space at this time, but it was heading straight for the planet, and was predicted to impact at the nearby city area in about a month. Peter sent a fire order to Gun Control, which had a rocket-propelled shell loaded in a second. To him, deflecting potentially world-ending asteroids was a weekly occurence. He was so used to the protocol that it felt mundane.
The ground-to-space railgun whirred as it charged the projectile accelerator. Firing in 3... 2... 1.
Peter waited for the asteroid to show a change in course, but it never did. He thought that Gun Control messed up and sent another fire order. Although unlikely, missed shots were not impossible. Peter was slightly amused at the fact that this was the first time he had seen such an error in his 243 years working here.
Peter waited again. Nothing. Fear and uncertainty started to creep over him. Wanting to get a visual on his target, he linked up with the Orbital Camera Network and pin-pointed the target's location.
"That is not an asteroid." The thought raced through Peter's mind.
Zooming in revealed fine features that would never have been possible on a natural asteroid. There was also no observable surface damage. Not even a dent or graze marks. However, the object had no identification and was not part of the Galactic Alliance, so there was no way it could have been a friendly alien spacecraft. Perhaps it was some form of old war relic that was especially hardy and kinetically resistant? Peter sent another fire order again. This time, with a nuclear payload. If deflection wouldn't work, the only alternative would be to blow the thing to bits.
Peter stared at the unidentified object in realtime as the nuke went off on impact. It seemed to take a chunk off the thing, which exposed some strange-looking innards. Peter couldn't make sense of any of it.
Before he could check the object's course again, the intrusion alarms started sounding. There was an unauthorised warp field detected in low orbit. He looked at the object again. It was emanating a pale-yellow light and part of it started fading into space. Peter immediately recognised what was going on. He activated the war sirens and tried getting an emergency signal up to Human Federation HQ, but it seemed that long-range communications had been jammed. Frustrated, he slammed his polymer hands on the desk. He stood motionless for awhile, contemplating the series of events that had just unfolded.
Peter had started a war with something that wasn't from our galaxy.

I’m a mature aged student who is eligible for both the masters and bachelor speech pathology programs at Flinders Uni.
I’d love to hear the experiences of masters graduates.
Did you find the pace of the course manageable, or do you regret not doing the slower pace of the bachelor? Did you like the pbl or problem based learning format? Why/why not? Do you feel you developed the same foundation as bachelor students, or did you have to play catch up on clinical placements and your first job?
